ReNew Biomedical is proudly ISO 13485 Certified, the gold standard for quality management systems in the medical device industry.

ISO 13485 certification confirms that ReNew:

  • Exceeds QMS standards for medical device handling

We’re committed to raising the bar for Third-party Service Organizations. With ISO 13485 certification, we undergo regular audits and process evaluations, meaning quality and compliance are built into everything we do.

Nationally Certified Biomedical Technicians

ReNew employs only qualified, full-time technicians, with CABT, CBET, or CHTM certifications through AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation).

CABT – Certified Associate in Biomedical Technology CABTs are technicians who support senior staff, handle preventative maintenance, perform equipment inspections, and make up the BMET foundation of the Healthcare Technology management field.

CBET – Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician CBETs are certified to the highest level of technical and regulatory knowledge. CBETs are trained to:

  • Calibrate and test complex medical devices
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field or depot
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and CMS regulations
  • Manage and integrate medical software and hardware systems
  • Maintain steam systems and sterilization equipment

Achieving CABT/CBET Certifications

We believe the future of healthcare depends on skilled, well-trained biomedical professionals. In 2021, we launched the ReNew Biomedical Training Academy, a program to train and certify biomedical techs in partnership with AAMI and the Federal Department of Labor.
