Care Instructions

Use a protective case to prevent damage during transport or handling.

Use a breakout cable to protect the AC power port (breakout cables are cheaper to replace than the port).

Press buttons only with your finger—do not use ink pens or other objects.

Use compatible mounting equipment instead of hanging the device by the handle.

Keep BP hoses connected to the unit to prevent debris from entering the lines.

Clear out event logs as part of routine maintenance.

Allow ample slack in cables to prevent tugging on electrodes.

Route patient cables carefully to avoid tripping hazards or pulling the unit onto the patient.

Keep transducers calibrated and free of trapped air.

Ensure therapy and ECG electrodes are not expired or damaged.

Test battery packs regularly to ensure reliability.

Clean the device with a damp cloth; avoid abrasives and harsh solvents (e.g., acetone).

Remove the battery if storing the unit for more than 30 days.

Avoid storing or using the unit in oxygen-rich, flammable, or wet environments.

Do not immerse any part of the defibrillator in liquid.
