Care Instructions
Store the device in a protective case to prevent impacts or rough handling
Install rubber bumpers on the feet to soften impact on hard surfaces
Use only fingers (not pens or tools) to press buttons
Keep the CO2 sensor door closed to protect the sensor from debris and moisture
Keep the therapy cable connected to the defibrillator at all times to prevent damage or contamination
Inspect batteries regularly for signs of damage or leakage
Insert the battery gently; forcing it may damage the battery pins
Keep batteries installed at all times, except when the device is removed from service for storage
Disconnect cables by gripping the connector, not the cable, to avoid damage
Avoid soaking or immersing sensors or cables in any liquid solution
Inflate the blood pressure cuff only when placed on an extremity
Clean the LIFEPAK 15 monitor/defibrillator, therapy and ECG cables, and batteries with a damp sponge or cloth
Use only approved cleaning agents: quaternary ammonium compounds, isopropyl alcohol, or peracetic (peroxide) acid solutions
Clean connector ports carefully, and prevent cleaning fluids from entering the device’s exterior surfaces
